Davis Cup nets Sony deal
Sony Pictures Networks India has acquired the exclusive broadcasting rights for the Davis Cup till 2024. The partnership will see Sony broadcast the tennis tournament in the Indian subcontinent including Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Nepal, Maldives, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka on their channel and also on their OTT platform, SonyLiv.

The qualifiers for the upcoming 111th edition of the Davis Cup will have a total of 24 teams participating and will consist of four singles and one doubles game in the home-and-away format. The qualifiers will go up against the Davis Cup 2022 finalist, Australia and Canada and also up against wild card entry teams Italy and Spain.
